SRI LAKSHMI VALLABHARAYA NAMAHA
ఆహిత్చాత్ర పురదినాధం మహీన్ద్రం మహినాధం,
ఇహికముష్మికనాధ, మహంవందే చ వల్లభం,
వందే వంగిపురినాధం సాలిగ్రామ శిలోద్భావం,
సువర్ణ బిందురమ్యాంగం సువర్ణ ఛాయ సన్నిభం,
రాజ్యలక్ష్మి సమాయుక్తం రమ్యమూర్తి మనోహరం,
పుండరీకాక్ష (గోవిందం) కేశవం కరుణానిధిం.
'Sri Rajyalakshmi sametha vallabharaya swamy ' vari temple is located at Vangipuram village in Guntur district, Prathipadu mandal in Andhrapradesh. It is 25 kms away from Guntur. The temple Sikhara wasy very high and can be seen from 4kms away. The temple premises is very large. One feels happy and gets spiritual thoughts by entering it.
HISTORY
Between 1100 and 1123, the Kataka king Narasimhadeva sent his 'sainyadhyaksha' Ananthadandapala to conquer the southern states. Along with his soldiers "Anantha dandapala" stayed at the banks of Krishna River during his journey. One night he got the dream. In that dream, the Bagavan appeared and said that ' Anantha, I am Srivallabha, I was at Ahitchatrapura earlier. To save the people here, I came and now my 'silarupa' is at the house of ' Vamanasarma' under 'kakarapadu'. You see to take it out and make prathista. By digging kakarapadu, there are two silarupas found. one is srikakuleswaraswamy and another is Vallabharaya. As desired by the Bhagavan, the Srikakuleswaraswamy was made prathista at Srikakulam and Vallabharaya was made prathista at Vangipuram by Anantha dandapala.
So, the temple is nearly 1000 years old. It was said, there were 350 vaishnava families resided in this village Vangipuram.
Srikrishnadevaraya visited this temple between 1515 to 1533. Rani Rudrama's Dandanatha Ravipati Vallabhadeva hailed from this village.(1261-1295). One of the Kannada Kavithrayas 'PAMPA MAHAKAVI' hailed from this village. Kannada Kavi Nagavarma hailed from this village.It is said that Annamacharya visited this temple (Listen to the Annamacharya Keerthana Vannekada Vannekada Vallabharaya).
UTSAVAS
Brahmotsavams will be performed in Maghamasa(which starts either in January or in February) every year with Panchahnika deeksha by Pancharatra agama. Large number of people used to attend during that time.
Vijayadasami, Mukkoti, Krishnastami, Narakachaturdasi utsavas and Godakalyanam on Bogiday will be performed with Bhakti and Deeksha.
ARCHAKAS
The pradhanarchaka Sri Nandyala Sudarsanacharyulu devoted his life to render poojas and utsavams at the temple in traditional way(from the age of 11 now 55). Recently a beautiful Kalyanamandapa was constructed in the place of old one. Along with his brother Lakshmi Vallabhacharyulu, the pradhanarchaka conducting Bhajans on every saturday and every Ekadasi(Ekaham) with the support of devoted Bhaktas in and around the village. The visitors feel that the diety Vallabharaya is Bhakta vallabha and fulfil their desires. It is beeing big and old temple that must be seen by every body at least once to get the blessings of Vallabharaya

I developed interest in this temple as we have another Temple of
Sri Vallabharaya in SWARNA village,near(10 kms away)Chirala,Prakasam dt.My father Dr Deevi Hanumacharyulu (80 yrs) is Pradhana Archaka in the Temple along with other 4 families of Archakas.The Temple is said to be constructed about more than 1000 yrs ago.Venkatagiri Rajas of Nellore Dt gave 90 acres of Inaam to the The then Pradhana Archaka by name Deevi Vallabhacharyulu in around 1881.Dhanurmasam will be conducted in this Temple during Dec/January every year culminating in Aandaal Kalyanam on Bhogi Day.Gramothsavams will be conducted on important festivals like Ugaadi,Dasara(Vijayadasami)etc.The Diety is an Idol of beauty(black stone)alongwith other idols of Rajyalakshmi and Anjaneya.
The Deevi brothers of Swarna(Hanumacharyulu and Late Rangacharyulu)did an yeomen service to this temple continuously for about 50 years from 1950s.After sad demise of Late Rangacharyulu in 2000-Sri Hanumacharyulu is still rendering service to the temple even at 80 yrs age at present.Other dedicated archakas of this temple include Deevi Jagannadhacharyulu,Deevi Srivallabhacharyulu,Alahari Venkata Srinivasacharyulu,Rompicharla VRVGK Charyulu(Venu) and Alahari Raghunadhacharyulu.The Archaka Brindam-with the leadership of Deevi Hanumacharyulu won a prolonged legal battle against State Endowment Dept for ownership of 90 acres land in High Court(Hyd) and Supreme Court in 1972 at New Delhi.The services rendered by Archakas in this temple are praised by one and all -who witnessed the temple.

sir I want to know about the history of swarna vallabharaya swamy temple can u please tell me. I yesterday visited the temple and very much excited to know about this temple so please can u tell me what u know.
